Earth Week Eco-Fair 2010
Sunday, April 18th, 2010, 11 am to 7 pm
at the Charlottesville Pavilion

Where: The Charlottesville Pavilion on Charlottesville's historic Downtown Mall

When: Sunday, April 18th, 2010, 11 am to 7 pm

What: The best Eco-Fair we've ever put on!

The Earth Week Eco-Fair is a free event with the purpose of spreading knowledge about how to repair and conserve our environment, and celebrate the fact that there is a great deal happening on this front right now, and much more promise in the foreseeable future. There will be tables and booths with green-minded businesses, government organizations, conservationist societies, local food producers, natural health care practitioners, and more. There will be live music, speakers, children's activities, and more.

Spend the day learning how you and your family can make local adjustments to address global climate change. The program of Eco-Fair 2009 can be downloaded here. A PDF map of the set up can be found here. You can save a copy to your computer and print it off for handy reference. If you choose to print either of these for reference, please recycle it when you are done.

Kids are definitely welcome—in fact we've got several activities geared toward them listed below. Come out for all that's going on, and be sure to check out the Bike Rodeo, a skill-building and instructional program for kids, being put together by ACCT (Alliance for Community Choice in Transportation).
